Short Sale, Forclosed and Bank owned homes.  Many buyers are told that a home inspection should not be done on foreclosed or bank owned homes because they are sold "as is".  Bank owned foreclosed homes normally do not have disclosures.  When the home is sold as is or there are no disclosures it can often be critical to get a home inspection.  It is very important that you are able to make an informed decision about such an expensive and important purchase.
